James R. Pancoast, President and CEO, Premier Health Partners
Jim Pancoast serves as the president of Premier Health Partners, a comprehensive health system that has 14,000 employees that serves southwestern Ohio through member and affiliate organizations in seventeen counties. At Premier, Pancoast is responsible for finance, information technology, business development, PHP joint ventures and strategic initiatives.
Jim was most recently president and chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Hospital, a full-service acute care, teaching hospital with 560 licensed beds. He served also as president and CEO of the parent corporation, Samaritan Health Partners (SHP). SHP includes affiliate corporations in long-term care, behavioral health, primary care physician practices, and a charitable foundation. SHP generates revenues in excess of $700 million annually, and includes an outpatient care center, Good Samaritan North, Maria Joseph Living Care Center, and several satellite health clinics.
Within Premier Health Partners, he has also been president of the Physician Network and president of Fidelity Healthcare.
Jim sits on the boards of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, the Montgomery County Human Services Levy Council and the Dayton Art Institute. He also serves as board chair of Premier Community Health. Pancoast holds an MBA from Michigan State University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mary H. Boosalis, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Premier Health Partners
Mary H. Boosalis most recently served as president and Chief Executive Officer of Miami Valley Hospital (MVH). She currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Premier Health Partners.
A California native, Mary earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, magna cum laude, from California State University at Fresno, working for 10 years as a critical care nurse at hospitals in California and Arizona. Mary joined Miami Valley Hospital in 1986 after receiving a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. Prior to being named President and Chief Executive Officer at Miami Valley Hospital, she held several executive positions in hospital operations, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1991, Mary was selected as one of Modern Healthcare magazine’s “Up and Comers” recognizing outstanding health care leaders under 40 years of age.
Mary is a diplomat of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She currently serves on the Boards of the Dayton Development Coalition, Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sinclair Community College.

Mark Shaker, Senior Vice President, Service Integration, Premier Health Partners
Mark Shaker has been appointed as senior vice president, service integration, and will lead the health system's service line strategy. Working with physician, hospital and system leadership, he will be advancing efforts in strategic service lines across the health system. He has been with PHP for over 27 years and has been at Good Samaritan Hospital since 2004. CEO since 2008, he previously was the executive vice president and chief operating officer, managing daily operations for the hospital. Prior to his years at Good Samaritan, he spent 14 years at Miami Valley Hospital where he held positions of increasing responsibility including vice president of strategic improvement and senior vice president of hospital operations and he spent five years as CEO of Fidelity Health Care. He holds a bachelor's of science in business administration from The Ohio State University and a masters' of health administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Eloise Broner, President and Chief Executive Officer, Good Samaritan Hospital
Eloise Broner has been president & CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital since May 2012. She has previously served as chief operating officer at the hospital. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, she has held leadership positions at PHP, including vice president of operations at Miami Valley Hospital for 17 years and as the chief purchasing officer for the health system. She received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University and her master's degree in Public Health from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has served on various community and county boards and currently is a member of the board of trustees of Wright State University. She has been the recipient of Dayton's Top 10 Women and Dayton's Top 10 African American Women Award and was a finalist for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Thomas M. Duncan, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Thomas M. Duncan is Chief Financial Officer and treasurer for PHP. His career with PHP and its affiliates spans more than two decades.
After graduating with honors in business from Wright State University, Tom began his career at Ernst & Whinney as a senior level audit staff member. In 1985, Tom became Director of Finance for MedAmerica Health Systems where he was responsible for accounting and financial analysis of various subsidiaries of Miami Valley Hospital. He became Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Fidelity Health Care in 1987.
In 1997, Tom was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Health Care where he oversaw the implementation of a paperless medical record system through organization-wide computerization, including field clinicians.
Later in 1997, Tom was made Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Samaritan Health Partners where he served until 2005 when he was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Miami Valley Hospital and MedAmerica Health Systems. Tom was recently named Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for PHP.

Diane Ewing, System Vice President, Marketing and Communications
Diane joins the organization from ViaHealth in Rochester, New York, where she has served since 2002 as vice president, Marketing and Public Relations. At ViaHealth, she was responsible for strategic marketing, internal and external communications, public relations, Web sites, community relations, and a call center. ViaHealth includes Rochester General Hospital, a 528-bed tertiary care provider, as well as a smaller hospital, nursing homes and a variety of specialty services. Earlier, she was vice president of Community Services for Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, New York, and director of Community Relations for Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Diane’s role at PHP will include managing strategic marketing, public relations and communications, Web sites, graphics and design, a call center and community relations.

Bobbie Gerhart, President and Chief Executive Office, Miami Valley Hospital
Bobbie Gerhart has been with the health system for 31 years holding various leadership positions at Miami Valley and Good Samaritan Hospitals, and with PHP in Corporate Services. Gerhart has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor of Science and Professional Arts from St. Joseph’s College in Maine and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Kennedy Western University in Wyoming. Gerhart is an active community volunteer and currently serves on the board of Daybreak.

William E. Linesch, System Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
William Linesch joined PHP in 2001 as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness. Prior to coming to PHP, Bill served in Human Resource executive positions in a variety of businesses including airlines, technology, banking and business services.
A graduate of Duns Scotus College, Bill has a passion for the role Human Resources plays in acquiring and developing organizational talent and in helping organizations successfully adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Bill serves on the boards of MONCO Enterprises, ISUS Charter School, Kettering Civil Service and Kettering Civil Service Board of Appeals. He and his family reside in Kettering.

Tammy S. Lundstrom, MD, JD, System Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
The PHP CMO is a position created to bring together our quality initiatives across the system. Dr. Lundstrom has an extensive background in the fields of Infection Control, Hospital Epidemiology, Quality, and Patient Safety. She was formerly the Chief Medical Officer at Providence and Providence Park Hospitals, facilities within St. John Providence Health System. Prior to this position she served as Corporate SVP, Chief Quality and Safety Officer for Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Lundstrom serves on multiple state and national committees relating to Infection Control and Quality. She has served on several Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality grant scientific review teams. In addition she is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management Advisory Task Force. Dr. Lundstrom has served on the National Quality Forum Steering Committee for National Consensus Standards for the Reporting of Healthcare Associated Infection Data. She is a past member of the Board of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), and Immediate Past Chair of the Public Policy and Governmental Advisory Committee. Dr. Lundstrom has been appointed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to the CDC's Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC). Dr. Lundstrom received her medical degree in 1987 from the University of Minnesota and she completed her law degree at Wayne State University in 2004.

Michael J. Maiberger, Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer
Michael J. Maiberger previously held the position of UVMC President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mike joined the UVMC health system in the role of hospital administrator in 1992 and was promoted to Vice President/COO in 1994 and Executive Vice President/COO in 1998. He assumed the position of President/ CEO in November 2007. He came to UVMC after serving as vice president of patient services at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Health Administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

Tom Parker, President and CEO, Upper Valley Medical Center
Tom Parker formerly served as chief operating officer of UVMC. Parker began his career in 1988 with Dettmer Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Baldwin Wallace College and a Master of Science degree in Business and Industrial Counseling from Wright State University. Parker is presently a member of the board of trustees for Hospice of Miami County.

Carol J. Turner, President and CEO, Atrium Medical Center
Carol J. Turner most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the hospital. Turner began her career 30 years ago at Middletown Regional Hospital and subsequently moved to the new Atrium Medical Center. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Dayton and a Masters of Science degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. She has served in a variety of executive leadership roles over the years. Turner has been active in the community, currently serving on the Lebanon Otterbein Board and previously on others including the Coffman YMCA Board, American Red Cross, and Middletown Lyric Theater Board.
